The Nocturne dining room after dark, set with velvet seating under warm downlights

NOCTURNEThe Art of the Evening

A low lit room in Braemar Quarter where the kitchen and the bar keep the same hours. Seasonal plates, a short and considered drinks list, and a table that is yours for the whole evening.

From the Kitchen

A short menu that changes as the season turns. Everything is cooked over coals or in cast iron, the fish is bought on the day, and the beef is aged in house for forty days. Nothing on the list is there to fill space.

From the Bar

The bar keeps the same hours as the kitchen and gets the same attention. Sixty bottles on the wine list, most of them from the Cape, a cocktail card of eight, and a no alcohol section built with real care rather than treated as an afterthought.

The Room

Low light, velvet, and enough space between the tables to hear the person across from you.

What Our Guests Say

Sample content. These quotes and the people who said them were written for this concept demo.

We came for one drink before dinner somewhere else and never left. The room does something to the pace of an evening. Three hours went past without any of us noticing.
